{"id":76,"date":"2023-05-13T17:38:48","date_gmt":"2023-05-13T17:38:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ieee-iv.org\/2024\/?page_id=76"},"modified":"2025-03-07T03:43:54","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T08:43:54","slug":"information-for-authors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ieee-soli.org\/2025\/contributions\/information-for-authors\/","title":{"rendered":"Information For Authors"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\">\n<h2 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"40\" data-lineheight=\"48px\">Manuscript Submissions<\/h2>\n<p>All submissions will be handled via the Papercept\/Paperplaza platform:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/its.papercept.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/its.papercept.net\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Prospective authors for all types of contributions must submit the following information via Papercept\/Paperplaza:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Type of Submission<\/strong>: Regular Paper.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Title of the manuscript<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Short abstract of the manuscript<\/strong>\u00a0(&lt;200 words).<\/li>\n<li><strong>PINs<\/strong>\u00a0of ALL co-authors of the manuscript: PINs can be sought or registered\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/its.papercept.net\/conferences\/scripts\/pinwizard.pl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Manuscript file<\/strong>: PDF file (version 1.4 or higher) with all fonts embedded, in US Letter page size, searchable, and with no password protection. Final papers sent to be part of the program of the conference\u00a0<b>MUST\u00a0<\/b>be formatted according to the instructions provided\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The expected length of the manuscript is\u00a0<strong>6 pages<\/strong>. A page charge needs to be paid if your final paper is over this page limit. A maximum of 2 additional pages is allowed, but at an extra cost per page. The maximum number of pages is\u00a0<strong>6 + 2<\/strong>\u00a0(with additional cost) =\u00a0<strong>8<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To upload the final manuscript, at least one of the authors listed on the paper must register for the conference.<\/li>\n<li>If the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors listed on the paper must attend the conference and present the paper according to the scheduling decided by the conference\u2019s Technical Program Committee. In the (rare) event that the presenter is unable to attend the conference for any reason, it is the presenter\u2019s responsibility to ensure that the paper is presented by a qualified colleague.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>IMPORTANT:<\/b>\u00a0Manuscripts generated by large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT are prohibited as submissions to IEEE ITSS Conferences. We will allow papers for which LLMs are used for light-editing of the authors\u2019 original manuscript, such as for spelling and grammar corrections. During the submission process, the authors will be asked to confirm\/certify that their submission represents the personal writing of and preparation by the authors, and was not generated by any large language model, such as ChatGPT or similar.<\/p>\n<p>All papers submitted through Papercept will be peer-reviewed.
